New Series!

This is the first installment of a new series that I have started: Street Diaries. Often, I find myself walking around town almost everyday with a camera in my hand. This is a mixture of wanting to get my steps in, especially if I've been sitting at a computer all day long. I always strive to get my 10k steps a day, doesn't always happen, but I try.

Further, I've found that is the best way to incorporate photography with trying to get my 10k steps in. It's the best way to combine exercise and creativity. I don't always strike gold on these walks, but every once in a while I will. Also, like Michael Scott said, "you miss 100% of the shots you don't take. - Wayne Gretzky' - Michael Scott," if you watched The Office, you'll get that joke and if you didn't watch The Office, what have you been doing with your life? I kid.

Well, one day last week, I worked all day, and found myself very hungry late at night. I took a nap as soon as I got home, so around 10 or so, I was quite hungry and did not feel like cooking, plus I'd been inside for way too long by this point, so I decided I hop on over to the St. Mary's strip, while out, I'd of course bring my trusty Fujifilm X100T, one of my favorite cameras. I plan to write a review about this camera in the very near future, stay tuned for that. This was one of those nights where I just kept running into people I knew from one place or another. And since I had my camera on me, I figured, why not snap a few photos of everyone. So here's that, photos of friends, buildings, signs, & a lady playing with fire. Hope you enjoy!
